HOW DO I GET STARTED?
We have a Welcome Offer for new, first-time visitors to The Pearl - 40 Credits to use in two weeks for $59. The idea is you use this time to check out our large variety of classes and different instructors and find out what you love most & how frequently you’re able to come in. 40 credits gets you 5 yoga or mat Pilates classes, or 2 Pilates Reformer Classes, or 1 private or duet session. You can mix and match your classes as you like. Click the “New? Start Here” button in the top right corner to get started.
-
HOW DOES THE CREDIT SYSTEM WORK?
The Pearl uses a credit system for class bookings, ensuring seamless payment for various class types. Think of credits as your movement currency. With different packages available, including recurring monthly memberships and credit packs, you can choose the option that best suits your needs. As a monthly member, you receive a set amount of credits to use on any classes you like. If you’re not able to use al of your credits, up to 16 (the value of two mat classes or one equipment class) will roll over into the next month.
-
HOW DO I BOOK CLASSES?
Booking classes is easy and can be done online through our website or on the Walla app. Simply create your profile, log in, choose your preferred class, and book your spot. Classes are available to book up to two weeks in advance. Workshops can be booked up to a month in advance. Our aim is to make the booking process simple and convenient.
-
WHAT SHOULD I BRING TO CLASS?
Just bring your water bottle, and grippy socks for Reformer classes. No worries if you don’t have grip socks, we sell them at the studio. For mat classes, we provide mats and all props, but you’re welcome to bring your own mat if you prefer. Don’t forget to bring your good vibes 😎
-
IS THERE A WAITLIST OPTION?
Absolutely! We have a waitlist feature for classes. If a spot becomes available, you'll be automatically added up to 20 minutes before the class. Make sure you are opted in to text notifications so that you can find out as soon as a space opens. If you’re on the waitlist and decide you no longer want to take the class, please remove yourself from the waitlist.
-
HOW DO I CANCEL A CLASS?
There’s no need to call, text, or email to cancel a class - you can quickly and easily take care of it yourself as soon as you know you won’t be able to make it.
ONLINE: Log in to your account & click "Manage Account" under your name in the upper right corner. Select "Your Schedule". Classes that you are booked for will populate, and on the right side of the class listing, click "Cancel".
ON THE WALLA APP: The home page of the app lists "Your Upcoming Visits". Click on the class you want to cancel, and at the bottom right of the screen, you will have the option to cancel. A pop up will ask you to confirm your cancellation, select "Yes, cancel".
Please note our 12-hour cancellation policy. If you cancel with less than 12-hours notice, you will forfeit your credits/payment for the class. All members have one annual “freebie” cancellation, please contact us via email to use yours.

What's the difference between mat and Reformer Pilates?
Mat Pilates is done on the floor with just a mat, using your own body weight for resistance. Reformer Pilates uses a specialized machine with springs, pulleys, and a moving carriage to add resistance and support. Both focus on core strength, alignment, and controlled movement - the mat emphasizes stability with minimal equipment, while the reformer offers variety and a new challenge.
-
I’VE NEVER BEEN ON A REFORMER BEFORE…
Start with a Pilates Fundamentals class (or two, or three!) before joining one of our open level classes, and let us know before we start that you’re a newbie! Our experienced instructors will guide you through proper use of the Pilates equipment. We know you’ll fall in love with the Reformer.
-
SHOULD I BECOME A MEMBER?
Yes! Members enjoy exclusive benefits, including deeply discounted rates, guest passes, occasional swag, and a 10% discount on in-studio items. Members receive a set number of credits per month, and have that month to use them. Up to 16 unused credits roll over to the next month. Having credits that you have to use is a motivator to schedule your classes, get into the studio, & start moving - because it’s easier to follow through when you have a plan!

-
HOW DO I BOOK FOR MY KID?
Kids’ programming runs on 12-week sessions and is booked separately from regular classes. If you’d like to book into a session after it has started, please reach out to us.

I HAVE A PHYSICAL LIMITATION...
We want every client to feel safe and supported in their movement practice. If you’re pregnant, recovering from surgery, or working with a chronic condition or injury, the best first step is to talk with us. Let the front desk or your instructor know what’s going on so we can support you.
Sometimes, the safest option is to begin with a few private sessions. This gives you one-on-one attention, helps you learn modifications that work for your body, and sets you up for success when you’re ready for group classes.
That said, group classes aren’t always the right fit for every stage of recovery or every condition. Our teachers will help guide you and may recommend waiting or sticking with privates for a while. Your safety and long-term well-being will always come first.
